Terms of Service
Last updated October 21, 2026
These terms govern your use of this website, including the owner check, the advisor check, the blog and every form. By using the site you agree to them.
Who we are
This website is operated by 41 Legacy LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company (41 Legacy, we, us). 41 Legacy provides enterprise value focused fractional CFO, value growth advisory and finance department services to owner-operated companies.
Information only, not professional advice
Everything on this site, including articles, the owner check, the advisor check and any scores or results, is general information for educational purposes. It is not legal, tax, accounting, investment or business brokerage advice, and it does not account for your specific circumstances. 41 Legacy is not a CPA firm and does not provide audit, attest or tax preparation services. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer or business broker. Consult your own licensed professionals before acting on anything you read here.
No client relationship from using the site
Using this site, completing a check, submitting a form or booking a conversation does not create a client, advisory or fiduciary relationship. That relationship begins only when you and 41 Legacy sign a written engagement agreement, and it is governed by that agreement.
The owner check and advisor check
The checks are self-assessments. Scores reflect only the answers you give and are not a valuation, appraisal, audit or opinion on your business. Do not rely on them for lending, investment, sale or tax decisions.
Your submissions
You agree that information you submit is accurate and that you are authorized to share it. We handle what you submit as described in our Privacy Policy. Text message and email consent are separate and optional, as described in our SMS Terms.
Scheduling
Appointments are booked through a calendar provided by a third-party scheduling service. Its availability and operation are outside our control, and its own terms may apply to your use of it.

The site and its content are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Past results and examples do not guarantee future outcomes.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 41 Legacy and its members, employees and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or business value, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred dollars.
